Clr To Clean Out Heater Core

I pulled the heater core and found it to look very good.

I attached the end of the garden hose back to the inlet side and i let the clr do its thing for about 30 mins. Flushing the heater core can remove these clogs but if it fails to work you may need to have your heater core replaced. A clogged heater core will prevent the coolant from passing through it limiting the amount of heat that can be transferred. Be prepared for some more coolant coming out.
